Sometimes, the moon is there to tuck me into bed.
Sometimes, it's gone.
But I'm not sad

because the moon always comes back.

The moon is always changing, but no matter what's happening now, it's comforting to know the cycle will come around again.

This gentle prose text compares a child's relationship with the moon and with their loved adults, with the promise that both will always return.
